She relies on frequent communication and proactive planning to minimize taxes and project cash flows, with deep experience in construction, real estate, medical, tourism and professional services.

Kristen began in public accounting in 2007 with a large regional firm, then spent two years at a large multinational firm before joining as a partner. She prepares complex federal, state and local returns for businesses and high-net-worth individuals, defends tax positions with the IRS and state and local agencies, and plans for multi-million dollar business acquisitions and sales.

Education: B.S. in Accounting and M.S. in Taxation, University of Central Florida

Grew up in Merritt Island and Titusville, and is raising her family here.

Where are McDonough CPA Solutions’ offices?

We have two Brevard County offices: the Viera office at 1005 Viera Boulevard Ste 203, Rockledge, FL 32955, and the Merritt Island office at 445 W. Merritt Ave., Merritt Island, FL 32953.

Who do you work with?

Businesses, individuals and trusts, primarily across Central Florida and the Space Coast. Our industry experience includes real estate, construction, dentists, healthcare, hospitality, law firms and manufacturers.

Do you only prepare returns, or do you plan too?

Both. We prepare individual, business, estate and trust returns, and we go beyond compliance with proactive tax planning, cash flow projections, entity selection, succession and retirement planning.

Can you help if the IRS or the state questions my return?

Yes. Our partners have successfully defended tax positions with the IRS and with state and local taxing agencies, resulting in significant savings to clients.

Do you help with bank loans and financial statements?
